We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Engineer to lead our quality assurance efforts and manage a growing team of testers. This role combines hands‑on testing expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring our software products meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and user experience. You will work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Allocate tasks, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones across multiple projects.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and support career development for team members.
Champion best practices in QA and drive process improvements across the team.
Quality Assurance Strategy
Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, and standards aligned with product goals and timelines.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Product, Development, DevOps) to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
Own the defect management process, ensuring timely identification, reporting, and resolution of issues.
Test Design & Execution
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
Maintain and enhance automated test frameworks and tools.
Analyse test results, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
Metrics & Reporting
Track and report key QA metrics such as defect density, test coverage, and release readiness.
Present quality status and risk assessments to stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in software QA, with at least 2 years in a leadership role with hands‑on experience.
Strong knowledge of AIQA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Knowledge of AI in QA/Automation.
Hands‑on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
Work Location
Hybrid Work Model:
This is a hybrid position, requiring you to work in the Bengaluru office 3 times per week.
