Manage an existing portfolio of business in the (mainly) European Grocery channel. Grow export sales significantly within the next three to five years; the account base has huge potential. Sell into European retailers via various European distributors. Deal with retailers such as Carrefour, Migros, Auchan, Mercadona, Albert Heijn, Jumbo. Work with distributors such as Atlante (an Italian distributor). Engage in NPD / Innovation and collaborate closely with the NPD team. Export territories are yet to be decided but will likely include France, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg (Benelux). The Person
Export sales experience is essential, ideally to Europe; candidates with exposure to any international territories will be considered. Understanding of international trading terms. Exposure to both distributor and retail channels is ideal, but candidates with exposure to one channel will be considered. Some experience of or understanding of NPD is a bonus but not essential. Category exposure in FMCG (Chilled, ambient, or frozen). Exposure to international retailers or distributors or similar is a bonus. Based commutable to the office in London. Remuneration
