This role focuses on delivering functional expertise, supporting key business applications and ensuring they run smoothly, reliably and in line with agreed SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with sponsors, IT and business stakeholders to elicit requirements and design effective application solutions.
Own assigned tasks: monitor progress, raise risks and issues, and ensure timely delivery.
Configure or develop application components based on clear design specifications, perform unit and integration testing, and support regular releases by turning business requests into delivered functionality.
Provide third‑line application support: investigate and resolve issues, ensuring smooth transition of new features or updates into production.
Produce accurate documentation and share knowledge with operational teams to support long‑term stability.
Work with experienced colleagues and third parties to keep solutions and support activities on track and aligned with wider IT standards.
Required Experience and Skills
Experience in application development or configuration and a genuine interest in building technical knowledge.
Strong communication skills, good organisation and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
Comfortable working with both technical teams and business stakeholders, approaching challenges with a practical, solutions‑focused mindset.
Experience in project delivery environments is beneficial.
Willingness to learn, adapt and develop as part of a collaborative hybrid team.
