Embedded Engineer This position is located at customer’s side in Sunbury, UK.
What will you be doing at eInfochips?
Design and develop real‑time embedded software and firmware, and PC/mobile based software application.
Analyze domain specific technical or low level requirement and modification as per end customer or system requirement and participate in software design.
Perform software testing including unit, functional and system level requirement, including manual and automated.
Document technical deliverable like software specifications, design document, code commenting, test cases and test report.
Develop software solutions from established programming languages or by learning new language required for specific project.
Develop new approaches to complex design problems.
What are we looking for?
5+ years of experience with embedded systems (NXP iMX8 or similar platform).
Strong knowledge of C++ programming language.
Bachelor’s degree in electronics or computer science.
Expertise in debugging, and communication protocols (HTTP, MQTT).
Knowledge in JLink, JTag, ICE Debugger, Serial Port Debugging.
Working knowledge of Linux.
Good to have experience with Yocto build system.
