4th Grade Teacher – Firm, Warm, and Consistent Leader

Chabad Jewish Academy (CJA) in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a highly skilled, structured, and relationship-driven 4th Grade Teacher to join our growing K–8 school. Responsibilities

• Teach core 4th-grade subjects using school curriculum and standards.
• Implement consistent routines and behavior expectations.
• Build strong relationships with students while maintaining clear authority.
• Manage a range of behavioral needs with confidence and compassion.
• Communicate regularly with families about progress and concerns.
• Collaborate with the Dean of Students, administration, and support staff.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and team planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (required).
• Prior experience working with students with behavioral needs (preferred).
• Proven success managing a busy, active elementary classroom.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Calm, steady presence and a growth-oriented mindset.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $38, $45,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
