Electrical Harness Assembler

Kress is looking for a full time Electrical Harness Assembler to join our team in the development of specialized industrial equipment for steel, construction, and mining industries. Our electrical harness assemblers route and tie insulated wires to form wire harnesses used in our machines to control electrical, and electronic equipment or systems.

Responsibilities –

• Read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints/specifications, wiring schematics, work orders, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and BOMs to build parts
• Cut, strip, crimp, or otherwise assemble the materials used to produce electrical harness assemblies
• Run braiding machine
• Evaluate any mechanical or material issues
• Place finished goods in the designated area
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications -

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years prior electrical wiring experience or production role experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Must have experience with a variety of hand tools
• Maintain Kress Corporation safety standards at all times
