Business Development Representative (BDR)

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) with deep experience in k-12 and/or early education. The Business Development Representative reports to the Vice President of Business Development and supports our Business Development Managers (BDMs). You are responsible for generating high-quality discovery and demo meetings by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective partners. Your success is measured by pipeline impact, not activity alone.

This is a remote role for someone who enjoys outbound outreach, learning new markets, and opening doors.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Generation and Outreach

  • Research and identify prospective partners within target markets, priority states, and education sectors
  • Build, segment, and manage lead lists using HubSpot and external data sources
  • Execute outreach across email, LinkedIn, and phone to book qualified discovery and demo meetings
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads against Torsh's ideal customer profile before handoff
  • Schedule and confirm meetings, ensuring a smooth and well-prepared transition to the BDM team
  • Follow up quickly on leads generated through conferences, webinars, and marketing campaigns
  • Test and refine outreach messaging, sequences, and scripts based on performance data and feedback
  • Monitor market signals, including funding trends and policy shifts, to support timely and relevant outreach
