Patient Service Representative

Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing patient appointments, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner.
• Complete patient check-in & check-out processes.
• Collect patient balances, copays, and coinsurance.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments using electronic scheduling systems.
• Verify and update patient information, including insurance details.
• Handle patient inquiries, both in person and over the phone.
• Assist with medical billing and coding as needed.
• Maintain a neat and organized reception area.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and technicians to optimize patient flow.
• Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry and filing as needed.
• Demonstrate predictable, reliable, and prompt attendance.
• Demonstrate compliance with our policies and procedures, including work rules and emergency action plans.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a medical receptionist role or similar customer service position is preferred.
• Proficiency with office software and electronic scheduling systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• A friendly and compassionate demeanor.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to patient satisfaction.

Working Hours:

• Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
