Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Associate II / Keyholder for a full-time position located in . This role is vital to the store's success, combining customer service excellence with leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, retail sales expertise, and exceptional organizational abilities to support daily operations and foster a positive shopping environment. As a keyholder, you will play a crucial role in opening and closing the store, ensuring operational standards are maintained, and leading by example to motivate the team.

Duties

  • Provide outstanding customer service through effective communication, product knowledge, and problem-solving skills.
  • Assist customers with product selection, inquiries, and transactions using POS systems.
  • Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to ensure attractive product displays.
  • Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures as a designated keyholder.
  • Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new team members.
  • Train and develop team members to enhance their sales techniques and customer service skills.
  • Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, balancing registers, and processing returns/exchanges.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in accordance with company policies.
  • Implement marketing strategies to promote sales initiatives and special events.
  • Assist with purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and inventory management to optimize sales performance.
  • Supervise staff schedules, shift management, and ensure efficient team coordination.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in retail sales with demonstrated success in customer service roles.
  • Previous supervisory or assistant manager experience preferred; strong leadership skills required.
  • Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math principles.
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of merchandising, marketing strategies, and store management best practices.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform bookkeeping tasks as needed.
  • Experience with recruiting, training & development, payroll processing, and employee orientation is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative independently.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or holidays if required; shift management experience is beneficial. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
