Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. Experience with food and beverage service, along with strong communication skills, is essential. Knowledge of POS systems and food safety standards will be highly valued. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus, offering recommendations and answering questions about menu items, including wine and beverage options.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery of food and drinks.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations, including bussing tables as needed.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met throughout service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to foster guest loyalty.
• Support other restaurant operations such as host/host duties or food preparation during busy periods.

Experience

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous.
• Experience with culinary techniques, food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Previous roles such as host/host or busser can provide valuable experience for this position.
