Excavator Operator

Boulevard Construction is hiring a skilled Excavator Operator to operate heavy equipment for excavation, trenching, and earthmoving projects in Sacramento, California. The successful candidate will play a key role in completing projects safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators for trenching, digging foundations, grading, and demolition
• Read and understand site plans, grades, and utility markings
• Work safely around underground utilities and other job-site hazards
• Perform routine equipment inspections and minor maintenance
• Coordinate with ground crew and supervisors
• Assist with general construction labor as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of excavator operating experience preferred
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and OSHA regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and willing to travel to various job sites across California
• Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)
• Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented
