Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
• Maintain spotless floors through sweeping, mopping, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
• Follow established cleaning protocols using janitorial equipment and industrial cleaning tools to deliver consistent results
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold property standards
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested by management

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within hospitality or industrial settings
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques for various surfaces including carpet, tile, and hardwood floors
• Previous hotel experience or familiarity with hospitality standards is highly desirable
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery and industrial equipment safely and effectively
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond to guest needs
• Experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus
