Job Summary
We are looking for a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Property Manager to support Mobile Home Parks and effectively oversee daily operations at a residential property community. This energetic professional will be responsible for maintaining exceptional property standards, ensuring resident satisfaction, and managing leasing activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, customer service, and legal administrative procedures, with a passion for creating vibrant, well-managed communities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team, foster positive resident relationships, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance coordination to ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Oversee property leasing activities, including conducting tours, processing applications, and upselling available units to prospective residents.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other applicable legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate data entry and filing of lease agreements, contracts, and legal documents using Rent Manager and other property management software.
- Handle landlord-tenant law issues with professionalism and transparency while resolving conflicts effectively through negotiation and conflict management techniques.
- Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management tasks to uphold safety standards and enhance resident satisfaction.
- Foster positive customer relationships through excellent phone etiquette, personalized service, and proactive communication.
- Property managers may be required to take state licensure exams pertaining to real estate law and other fundamentals of property management.
Skills
- Bilingual with Spanish and English. Bilingual abilities (written and verbal) are required to communicate with customers.
- Proven experience in property management, leasing, or real estate administrative roles with strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
- Proficiency in Rent Manager, Yardi, OneSite, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and other property management tools.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Google Suite software.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell units and manage customer relationships effectively.
- Strong organizational skills for data entry, filing, contract management, and office administration tasks.
- Ability to handle conflict resolution professionally while maintaining positive resident relations.
- Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs and legal administrative procedures related to housing regulations.
- Facilities management experience including property maintenance oversight and vendor coordination.
- Licensed Manufactured Home Sales/Lease Licenses or ability to complete exam within 30 days of hire is required.
Pay: $ $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
