Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a 264 unit apartment complex. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, customer service, and legal administrative practices. This role requires excellent communication skills, conflict management abilities, and a thorough understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations. The Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring tenant satisfaction, maintaining property standards, and managing leasing activities.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of properties, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Oversee property maintenance and coordinate repairs with vendors.
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
- Conduct property leasing activities, including marketing available units and conducting showings.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and property maintenance requests using property management software we use App Folio
- Develop and implement strategies for upselling services to tenants to enhance revenue.
- Manage contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring quality service delivery.
- Perform data entry tasks related to tenant information, maintenance requests, and financial records.
- Foster positive relationships with tenants through exceptional customer service and effective communication.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administration.
- Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and conflict management techniques.
- Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi or OneSite is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships with tenants.
- Strong negotiation skills for handling contracts and vendor agreements.
- Experience in facilities management and property maintenance practices.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for filing and data entry tasks.
- Effective phone etiquette for managing tenant communications professionally.

Pay: $65, $68,000.00 per year
