Warehouse Receiving Associate

What You'll Do :

Receiving & Inspection

• Verify and inspect incoming vendor shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Check all materials including plumbing fixtures, PVC, and CPVC fabrication parts for damage or discrepancies.
• Report issues to vendors and the Materials Team.
• Safely unload deliveries using forklifts and/or company vehicles.

Stocking & Inventory Management

• Stock and organize incoming materials efficiently.
• Down-stack pallets, restock bins, and relocate inventory as approved by management.
• Ensure stockers have needed materials and updated bin locations.

Communication & Collaboration

• Maintain positive relationships with vendors and delivery drivers.
• Work closely with the Accounting Department to resolve receiving discrepancies.
• Coordinate with warehouse and other departments to support daily operations.

Warehouse Support

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and support other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Driver's License (Required)
• Experience in warehouse operations, receiving, shipping, or inventory preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Effective communication skills with vendors, drivers, and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Basic computer skills (email, inventory systems).

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and maneuvering materials up to 75 lbs.
• Standing, bending, and repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Working around moderate to loud machinery noise.
• Occasional outdoor work during receiving or onsite deliveries.
• Following strict PPE and safety protocols.
