Receptionist

Position Summary:
Life Care Center of Fitzgerald is seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, families, and staff. The Receptionist plays a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing excellent customer service while performing essential clerical and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and direct all visitors, residents, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
• Answer multi-line telephone system; route calls and take accurate messages
• Maintain visitor logs and ensure sign-in/out procedures are followed
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
• Provide general administrative and clerical support to facility departments
• Maintain the reception area in a clean and organized manner
• Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings as needed
• Respond promptly to resident and family inquiries or direct them to appropriate personnel
• Uphold confidentiality and resident rights at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a receptionist or front desk role preferred, especially in a healthcare or long-term care setting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office equipment (phone systems, copiers, scanners)
• Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment with professionalism and accuracy
• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
