Project Rebuild is expanding fast, and our new Cedar Hill, TX location needs a skilled Automotive Body Shop Technician to join our team. We work on everything from collision repairs to full classic restorations, so if you're someone who takes pride in clean bodywork and professional results, this is the shop for you.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for high-quality body repair work, including panel replacement, dent repair, metal finishing, filler work, and panel alignment. This position is ideal for someone who wants steady work, a clean environment, and the freedom to focus on craftsmanship—not rushed, high-volume chaos.

What You'll Do

• Complete body repairs on classic, custom, and late-model vehicles
• Perform metalwork, panel repair, replacement, and alignment
• Conduct dent removal, body filler application, and surface prep
• Work with the restoration team on classic car metal fabrication and patch panels
• Sand, block, and prep vehicles for primer and paint
• Repair rust damage on vintage vehicles
• Inspect your own work to ensure tight gaps, straight lines, and proper fitment
• Maintain a clean, organized work area

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of collision repair or automotive bodywork experience
• Strong metalwork and panel repair abilities
• Skilled in body filler work, sanding, and surface prep
• Ability to produce clean, straight, professional results
• Basic welding experience is a plus
• Experience with classic cars or custom builds a major bonus
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
• A team player who takes pride in doing it right the first time
