Leasing Professional

We are seeking a part-time leasing professional to work between 16-24 hours per week. Saturdays are a must. The ideal candidate will have customer service and sales experience. Open availability needed on Fridays and Saturdays. Hourly pay, plus commission on each apartment leased

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Professionally greet, qualify, tour and lease apartments to prospective residents, orienting them to the property and to the community.
• Follow-up with all prospective traffic via phone, mail and/or e-mail.
• Process all rental applications in a timely and accurate manner hours).
• Have a working knowledge of and consistently follow the company's operating procedures.
• Understand and observe all Fair Housing rules and regulations.
• Accurately prepare all leasing and move-in paperwork.
• Accurately review the lease and all lease paperwork with residents before move-in, ensuring all documents are signed.
• Assist in distributing lease renewal letters to residents in a timely manner.
• Follow-up with residents concerning their renewal decision until a renewal is signed or a notice is given.
• Plan, promote and attend resident social functions as directed.
• Accept and write resident service requests in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support whole team effort by providing clerical support and answering phone calls.
• Participate in company-provided training.
• Complete all leasing reports in an accurate and timely manner.

• Education and Other Qualifications:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid Driver's License is required which will be re-verified during each annual performance review.
