In this role, you'll help keep our team running smoothly by assisting with everything from scheduling and records management to welcoming new hires and celebrating employee milestones. Responsibilities:
Provide administrative assistance to the Director and Assistant Director of HR, including scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and special projects. In addition, provide telephone support for the entire department.
Manage and maintain all HR records/files in an accurate and organized manner.
Order and maintain adequate supply of HR products and office supplies within budgetary guidelines.
Coordinate ordering and distribution of all consumer banking and officer name badges.
Responsible for various duties associated with employee notifications, including but not limited to new hires/terminations, transfers/promotions, status changes, address changes and name changes. Prepare orientation packets and track onboarding paperwork, prepare/schedule exit interviews and anniversary cards.
Distribute employee communications regarding retirements, births and other employee life events.
Prepare, distribute and maintain all FMLA paperwork and update respective timecards for employees on leave.
Responsible for the auditing of payroll changes after every payroll is run to ensure that all changes were made accurately.
Complete Unemployment paperwork and submit claims for determination.
Special projects as assigned.
Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalency, as well as 2-3 years administrative experience in an office environment.
Strong administrative skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize assignments and multitask to assist department in achieving goals.
High degree of accuracy and efficiency coupled with maximum productivity.
Strong relational skills including a pleasant telephone manner and professional demeanor and ability to work collectively with all levels of persons, from all Lines of Business/Support.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal, along with a sense of humor and strong sense of teamwork.
Able to think independently and handle a normal level of workplace stress.
Able to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
Wage Range:
The salary for this position ranges from $20.00 to $30.00/hr
