Position Summary

Provides specialized, high-level executive and administrative support to the Director of the Integrated Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders (iCASD) within the Munroe-Meyer Institute. Responsibilities include assisting with the strategic planning, organization, administration, and oversight of daily departmental operations while delivering expert administrative and clinical support to the Director. Serving as a key liaison, this role facilitates communication and coordination across all levels of iCASD leadership, program directors, departments, and both current and prospective faculty and staff.

  1. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.

  2. Knowledge of medical terminology, including terms used in diagnostic and treatment procedures related to iCASD.

  3. Strong problem-solving skills to address staff and client inquiries regarding policies, procedures, resources, and systems, ensuring effective resolution of various issues via telephone or in-person interactions.

  4. Ability to work independently, efficiently completing routine tasks with minimal supervision.

  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to compose clear, grammatically correct, and properly punctuated written correspondence without supervision.

  6. General understanding of the medical insurance process, including authorizations and plans of care.
