Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Bilingual Retail Salesperson to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in their shopping experience, and driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge. Your ability to speak multiple languages will enhance our customer interactions and help create a welcoming environment for all shoppers.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively.
• Utilize POS systems for processing transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties.
• Maintain a well-organized sales floor through merchandising, stocking, and ensuring products are displayed attractively.
• Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
• Handle customer inquiries via phone with professionalism and etiquette, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock management tasks.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency is required; fluency in English and another language is preferred.
• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash accurately.
• Experience with POS systems is an asset; familiarity with retail operations is beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative when needed.
