Job Title: Certified Medication Aide (CMA)  

Location: Skilled Nursing Facility  

Job Summary:  

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our team at our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting residents with their medication needs while ensuring a safe and supportive environment. 

Key Responsibilities:  

- Administer medications to residents as prescribed by healthcare providers  

- Monitor and document residents' responses to medications  

- Assist with daily living activities and provide personal care as needed  

- Maintain accurate medication records and ensure compliance with facility policies  

- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members  

- Participate in training and continuing education to stay current with best practices  

Skills and Qualifications:  

- Valid Certified Medication Aide certification  

- Previous experience in a healthcare or nursing environment preferred  

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills  

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting  

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills  

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
