CNC Programmer/Operator

Green Leaf is looking for a CNC Programmer – Operator to program and operate two and three axis CNC production equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Setup, startup and operation of CNC equipment.
• Verify finished product meets customer specifications.
• Work with Production Manager to maintain production schedule.
• Evaluate programming processes in order to update techniques and improve quality, safety and productivity efficiencies. Ensure processes fall within the established guidelines.
• Communicate important information to machine operators, QC and Management.
• Operate CNC equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet of CNC equipment.
• Perform housekeeping items to ensure the workplace is clean and free of safety concerns.
• Follow all safety and standard operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

• 2 year degree or equivalent experience in setup and operation of CNC machining centers.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

• Good troubleshooting skills
• Strong mechanical background
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work varied hours
• Familiar with Fanuc G code controls
• Detail oriented
