Barista

Job Overview

$15/hr plus TIPS

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at a new café. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and creating delicious coffee beverages in a fast-paced environment.

Our cafe hours are: 8am-3pm (m-f) and 10am-3pm (sat&sun)

Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following café recipes
- Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area
- Assist in food preparation and handling
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers
- Upsell café products and promotions

Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and processing payments
- Familiarity with coffee and espresso machines is a plus
