Duties

• Supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service
• Lead, train, and motivate baristas to deliver excellent customer experiences and maintain product consistency
• Manage cash handling, POS transactions using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, and ensure accurate cashiering procedures
• Oversee food safety practices, proper food handling, preparation, and adherence to health regulations
• Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock replenishment, and coordinate with suppliers as needed
• Support sales initiatives by engaging customers proactively and promoting menu items effectively
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep zones and serving stations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee preparation and food service standards
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a café or retail environment preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters positive interactions
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and serving standards in the food industry
