SETTING THE STAGE

Immediate opening for enthusiastic and reliable bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking and dining experience in a small bar. This position is possibly the easiest bartending job around Williston Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers' needs and expectations. Tuesday - Saturday from 4:30 PM and typically done by 10:00 pm; however, longer hours as business may dictate. Wednesday-Saturday schedule may be available.. Gratuity earnings proportional to ability to be a good and cheery communicator with guests. Compensation includes hourly wage plus gratuities. Great benefits available including holiday, sick and vacation pay. Health insurance available for full-time bartender.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for patrons
• Interact with customers, take food and beverage orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Keep a meticulously clean and well organized bar

Requirements

• Resume and proven 2-year working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Operate bar within pouring specifications.
• Computer point of sales system literacy
• Cash handling and reporting
• Taking beverage inventory a start and end of shift
• Cheerful, positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate
• May be called to work a weekend or holiday shift and the ability to work weekend shifts given preferential hiring consideration
• Must have reliable transportation
