SUMMARY

The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the HR team, ensuring efficient HR processes and an excellent employee experience. This role handles day-to-day HR tasks such as onboarding, employee changes, HR documentation, and data management while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accurate and up to date employee records in HRIS and shared system
  • Assist with new hire onboarding, including documentation, background checks, and drug screenings
  • Ensure proper filing of HR documents and compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Support audits, reporting, and compliance-related activities
  • Process department invoices in a timely manner.
  • Track employee engagement initiates, surveys, events, and communications
  • Complete Verifications of Employment
  • Triage HR Inbox messages
  • Contribute to HR process improvement and special projects.
  • Collaborate across HR functions (e.g, benefits, performance management, training)
  • Actively participate in staff meetings and trainings as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all employee and client information
  • Apply sound judgement to resolve minor issues in line with Institution policies and department procedures

EDUCATION

High School Diploma

Bachelors degree in Human Resources preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Paycom required
  • Basic understanding of HR principles
  • 2+ years of HR, administrative or related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
