Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. This role involves helping clients maintain their independence, ensuring their safety, and enhancing their quality of life through personalized care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, home & community care, or long-term care environments, with a focus on seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring specialized memory or dementia care. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Monitor and observe patients' health status, reporting any changes or concerns promptly
  • Administer medication and follow care plans as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding if necessary
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
  • Utilize patient monitoring techniques including vital signs checks and health assessments
  • Support clients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies
  • Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and ensure proper safety protocols are followed
  • Document care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being
  • Assist with transportation or accompany clients to appointments as needed

Requirements

  • Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care preferred
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards
  • Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable
  • Experience working with individuals with dementia is a plus
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and assist with mobility support using appropriate equipment
  • Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and safety oversight
  • Excellent communication skills and compassionate demeanor
  • Valid driver's license preferred for transportation duties
  • Ability to work flexible hours including shifts that may include evenings or weekends if required by the employer
