Position Summary
The Human Resources Specialist plays a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and compliance functions. This role ensures a smooth employee experience and provides hands-on support to managers and team members across the organization. The HR Specialist must demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a high level of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support full-cycle recruitment: posting jobs, screening resumes, coordinating interviews.
- Prepare offer letters, contracts, and onboarding documentation.
- Conduct new hire orientations and ensure successful integration into the company.
- Maintain accurate candidate and hiring records.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and HR support.
- Assist in resolving day-to-day employee relations issues, escalating when necessary.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, events, and recognition programs.
HR Administration & Recordkeeping
- Maintain and update employee files, HRIS data, and attendance records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and data protection regulations.
- Prepare reports, memos, and HR documentation as needed.
- Track employee leave balances and support benefits administration.
Performance & Compliance
- Assist in performance review cycles and documentation collection.
- Help ensure compliance with local labor regulations, company policies, and audit requirements.
- Support training initiatives, including scheduling, tracking attendance, and maintaining training records.
Payroll Support
- Coordinate payroll-related data: new hires, terminations, salary updates, and leave.
- Work closely with finance/payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of HR experience (administration, recruitment, or generalist support).
- Strong understanding of HR processes, local labor laws, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
