Journeyman Plumber

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing, mechanical systems, and site installation. This role involves performing complex plumbing tasks on commercial and residential projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. The Journeyperson Plumber will also be responsible for reading blueprints, and working with various tools and materials to deliver high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute plumbing layouts accurately.
• Conduct troubleshooting of plumbing issues on-site, diagnosing problems quickly and implementing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing installations within remodeling or new construction projects.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
• Heavy lifting of materials or equipment as needed while maintaining safety protocols.
• Support field service operations by providing timely repairs and system upgrades.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson Plumbing license or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience in construction plumbing, site installation, or related field service roles.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and blueprint reading.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety standards and protocols.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in confined or elevated spaces.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and layout planning.

Pay: $ $39.00 per hour
