Busser/Hostess/Food Runner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a clean and welcoming dining experience for our guests. As a Busser, you will assist the waitstaff by clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall efficiency of the restaurant operations.

Duties

• Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next customers.
• Assist servers by refilling drinks, delivering food, and providing additional support as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including floors and restrooms, to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for guests.
• Set up and break down dining areas for special events or catering functions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and accurate food delivery.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and health regulations to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Skills

• Experience in the food service industry is preferred, with knowledge of bussing practices being a plus.
• Strong customer service skills to engage positively with guests and enhance their dining experience.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety standards is essential.
• Previous experience in restaurants, catering, hotels, or kitchens is advantageous but not required.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and organization within the restaurant setting.
