The Foam Cutter is responsible for accurately cutting foam materials according to specifications for use in mattress and bedding products. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate cutting machinery to ensure all foam components meet quality and production standards.

Salary: 20-22$/h
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Measure, mark, and cut foam blocks and sheets according to work orders, drawings, and specifications.
- Operate foam cutting equipment, including horizontal cutters, vertical cutters, band saws, and CNC or manual cutting machines.
- Inspect foam materials for defects, inconsistencies, or damage before and after cutting.
- Ensure accurate dimensions and tolerances are maintained to meet quality standards.
- Follow detailed instructions to minimize material waste and maximize efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
- Adhere strictly to workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and material handling as required.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and production staff to meet production targets.
- Previous experience as a foam cutter or in foam/mattress manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, measurements, and cutting specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to operate cutting machinery safely and efficiently.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.
- Ability to lift and handle foam materials safely.
