Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, the Psychologist PhD - Senior will provide neuropsychological assessment services to children and youth (ages 3 to 17 years) referred through the Pediatric Inpatient and Outpatient services as well Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The Psychologist PhD Senior will provide neuropsychological diagnostic services to assist in diagnosis, treatment planning, and decision-making around neurodevelopmental and neurocognitive disorders. The Psychologist PhD Senior will participate in research, quality improvement and risk management activities and will be accountable for program evaluation. The Psychologist PhD - Senior will provide psychology supervision to neuropsychology students and residents and provisionally registered clinical psychologists with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists.

- Experience with neuropsychological assessment
- 2 years exp providing assessments and therapy for infants, children & families
Education
- PhD in Clinical Psychology
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- PhD Internship Training from a CPA accredited (or equivalent) residency required

Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge of (administering and interpreting) psychological assessments and tests that are used with complex children and youth (0 to 18 years).
- Knowledge of differential diagnoses to support assessment and treatment of children and youth exhibiting symptoms of neurocognitive and neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Knowledge of neuropsychological and psychological assessment and treatment methods and tools.
- Knowledge of the DSM-5 diagnoses that pertain to children and youth (0 to 18 years).
- Knowledge and skill with crisis intervention strategies.
- Knowledge and experience delivering appropriate assessment and mental health services to culturally diverse populations.
- Experience in providing psychological consultation and direction to other disciplines on the team and in the community, including schools.
- Experience in providing consultation and psychology services to children (ages 0 to 18 years) within an inpatient acute care setting.
- Ability and commitment to work effectively in a team-based, multi-disciplinary environment and with community groups.
- Ability to reach and provide clinical supervision to Psychology Residents and Provisional Psychologists.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
