We're opening two brand-new dispensaries in Colorado Springs and seeking the best of the best to lead our teams and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Role Overview
The Dispensary Manager oversees and directs daily activities, schedules, and assignments of employees in storage, inventory, and distribution. You are responsible for sales, compliance (MED/METRC), social media, patient/customer retention, and the overall success of the dispensary.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Interview, hire, onboard, and train budtenders and leads.
- Oversee daily workflow and labor planning.
- Assign projects and ensure deadlines are met safely and accurately.
- Conduct timely, constructive performance evaluations and coaching.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee receipt and verification of incoming shipments; ensure materials are unloaded, stored, and verified per policy.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of finished goods; ensure orderly storage and location accuracy.
- Conduct regular inventory checks (weekly spot checks; monthly thorough audits).
- Communicate inventory review results to the manager; collaborate to schedule future shipments.
- Delegate order fulfillment and maintain the inventory database when orders are fulfilled.
- Uphold Company SOPs, quality standards, and a welcoming, educational environment.
- Maintain product knowledge (methods of use, strain profiles, concentrates).
- Complete work accurately and on time; manage transfers, sales, and supplies.
- Keep records for patients/customers, MED/METRC, and company data.
- Demonstrate positive attitude, follow directions, lead by example, and learn new tasks.
- Use the POS system, email, and computer tools proficiently.
- Uphold team members to company standards; train new team members.
- Provide direct, respectful feedback and practice de‑escalation with disgruntled customers.
- Follow company social media protocols.
- Be available for on‑call response to emergencies as needed.
- Work with store leadership to train all employees on safety, security, and MED (state & local) compliance.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels; complete monthly audits.
- Oversee cleanliness and organization of the store; coordinate special events.
- Ensure effective communication across the team.
- Handle invoices and submit change/cash orders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Schedule
Schedule is based on the needs of the business and will include nights, weekends, and periods above 40 hours aligned to events, production, staffing, and facility needs—especially during openings and weekly drops.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Excellent verbal communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of procedures, policies, and compliance.
- Accurate recordkeeping and attention to detail.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (or related software), POS, and able to learn METRC quickly.
Education & Experience
- Minimum 2 years in a management role (retail or dispensary management preferred).
- Cannabis retail experience and METRC familiarity are ideal.
Licenses & Certifications
- Must meet background check requirements. and have required Colorado MED credentials (Support/Key) as applicable.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to sit, stand, and traverse the location to observe team members and operations.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $55,000–$60,000 annually
