Cashier/Sales Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining a well-organized store environment. You will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience through effective communication, product knowledge, and sales techniques. Must be 21 or over to apply

Duties

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to company policies.
• Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance sales opportunities.
• Assist with merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively on shelves and displays.
• Maintain stock levels through regular stocking and inventory checks to ensure product availability.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries over the phone, ensuring professionalism at all times.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Experience with retail sales techniques, including upselling and merchandising strategies.
• Familiarity with Cannabis and Vapes is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear interaction with customers and team members.
