We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our growing internal accounting team at Crowe BGK.

Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this role will play an instrumental part in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of the firm's financial operations.

· Compile financial statements and accompanying footnotes.

· Prepare income statements and balance sheet analyses.

· Produce month-end and quarter-end financial reports, including reconciliations and adjusting journal entries.

· Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

· Review and approve accounts payable entries.

· Act as a back up and support for accounts payable.

· Prepare supplier payments as needed.

· Apply cash receipts and communicate with clients as needed.

· Reconcile bank accounts and liaise with banking partners as required.

· Prepare partner-related reports.

· Review and approve expense reports for staff and partners as needed.

· Prepare monthly and annual reports, along with various ad-hoc and financial analyses.

· Prepare monthly GST/HST/QST filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

 What you need to succeed:

· Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. CPA designation is considered an asset.

· years' experience in a similar position (preferably in the accounting or professional services industry).

· Bilingual spoken and written (French and English)

· Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and reporting standards.

· Proficiency in financial software systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process improvements.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with vendors, clients, and team members.

· Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of organization in one's work.
