Role: Shared Media Leader
Job Summary:
The Shared Media Team Lead is responsible for owning and coordinating shared media efforts across multiple clients, including social media, community management, PR, paid media, SEO and more. This role exists to bring clarity, consistency, accountability, and strong client communication to work that is currently executed across multiple contributors and external partners.
This is a leadership and orchestration role, not a channel-specific specialist position. Success will be measured by improved execution quality, clearer reporting, stronger client confidence, and better alignment across disciplines.
Compensation:
- The annual salary ranges from $110,000 to $141,000

Job Responsibilities
Leadership & Ownership
- Owner for shared media timelines, strategy and execution across all clients
- Establish clear workflows, reporting templates and decision-making standards
- Translate performance data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations that drive decisions, prioritization for internal teams and client stakeholders.
Team Management
Lead and coordinate specialists; hold them accountable for deliverables, timelines, and performance without needing to execute the work personally
- Social Media Manager (+ Social Media Intern)
- Community Manager
- PR Manager
- Paid Media (currently outsourced)
- Manage and oversee outsourced partners for SEO and reputation management
Process, Standards & Reporting
- Build and maintain repeatable processes for planning, execution, and reporting
- Define clear KPIs and success metrics across channels
- Ensure reporting is clear, consistent, and understandable to non-marketing stakeholders
- Improve visibility into what clients are receiving for their spend
Client Communication
- Translate media activity into business-relevant outcomes
- Confidently explain strategy, performance, and trade-offs to clients
- De-escalate issues and maintain trust during performance fluctuations or change
Operational Improvement
- Reduce fragmentation, duplication, and inefficiency across shared media
- Improve coordination between internal contributors and external vendors
- Partner closely with leadership to scale internal capabilities over time
Qualifications
- 5-8+ years experience in digital marketing, integrated media, or agency leadership
- Proven experience managing multi-discipline teams (social, PR, paid media, etc.)
- Strong client-facing communication skills; able to explain complex work simply
- Comfortable managing both internal staff and external agencies
- Highly organized, decisive, and process-oriented
- Experience prioritizing across multiple clients or business units
- Willingness and ability to travel up to ~30% of the time (approximately 5–6 days per month) to support clients, internal teams, and key meetings.
Preferred Background
- Former practitioner in one or more digital disciplines who has moved into leadership
- Experience in an agency or multi-client environment
- Demonstrated success improving operational clarity and accountability
