Pay Range: $17.84 to $24.96

Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

Kwik Trip Inc. Is looking for a Human Resources Compliance Coordinator. This individual will ensure company-wide compliance with specific employment regulations or policies while also focusing on data accuracy and integrity within HR systems. This position requires some knowledge of employment law, HR processes, and data management, data security and privacy guidelines, working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Payroll, Employment Compliance, and Data Quality:
  • Coworkers Missing on Payroll: Monitor for employees who haven't worked required hours; follow up with leaders to determine employment status.
  • First Punch Discrepancies: Investigate mismatches between hire dates in the HRIS and first punch data; make necessary corrections.
  • Terminations: Review and process termination entries, ensuring accuracy in termination reasons, which impact vacation payouts and cost allocations.
  • Talent Operations File Checks: Providing hiring leaders with information about existing and previous coworkers to use in hiring decisions. This involves getting data from various sources and editing out sensitive or restricted information.
  • Other duties as needed or as business needs change.

Knowledge/Skill:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer/Data Entry skills including Office, and other software products, and ability to learn other.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to organize retrieved data into a meaningful and useful format.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Possess basic math and reading skills and knowledge of operating general office equipment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work well and communicate with a variety of individuals from various levels within the Kwik Trip organization.
  • Capability of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks
  • Ability to complete tasks without direct supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; Daytime hours.
