Responsibilities

• Install Starlink satellite dishes, mounting hardware, and associated equipment at customer locations using hand tools and mechanical knowledge.
• Interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and installation manuals to ensure precise setup according to specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on satellite hardware and related components in the field.
• Use low voltage wiring techniques and test equipment such as ohmmeters to verify proper electrical connections and system functionality.
• Diagnose issues with computer hardware, networking equipment, and satellite components to restore optimal service quickly.
• Follow safety protocols for working with electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and outdoor environments while adhering to industry standards.
• Communicate clearly with customers about system operation, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps to ensure customer satisfaction.

Experience

• Proven experience in field service or service technician roles involving equipment installation, repair, or maintenance.
• Familiarity with hand tools, schematics, computer hardware, and basic electrical wiring is essential.
• Prior experience working with computer networking systems or satellite technology is highly desirable.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to read technical diagrams enhances your effectiveness in this role.
• Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, equipment repair, and using testing tools such as ohmmeters is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently in outdoor or remote settings.
