Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels according to hotel standards.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
• Follow safety protocols for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance issues or cleanliness concerns and report them promptly.
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work; hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care (mopping, polishing), surface sanitation, and industrial cleaning methods.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest service excellence.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
