Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. Must have experience in a restaurant or food service environment, with a strong understanding of food safety and meal preparation. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious and nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs of our clients. Your expertise in menu planning and culinary techniques will help ensure that every dish is prepared to the highest standards. At this time we are only looking for part time employee to work Saturday Sunday Monday 8am to close

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
• Collaborate with the dietary department to ensure all meals meet nutritional requirements.
• Help train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
• Participate in special events or catering functions as required.

Skills

• Proven experience in a restaurant or culinary setting, preferably within a dietary department.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to plan menus that cater to diverse dietary needs.
• Excellent cooking skills with attention to detail in meal preparation.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others in the kitchen.
