Java Full Stack Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Java Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in modern front-end and back-end technologies, high-performance Java systems, streaming/messaging platforms, and advanced containerized deployment environments. This role requires deep knowledge of Capital Markets – Fixed Income, including Bond Pricing, Risk, PnL, and trade lifecycle processes. The ideal candidate is hands-on, delivery-focused, and highly collaborative within a large enterprise environment.

Required Skills & ExperienceCore Development Expertise

• 5+ years of high-performance programming experience using Java.
• 5+ years of full stack development using:
• Angular / TypeScript (front-end)
• Java + Spring Framework (back-end)

Messaging, In-Memory & Build Tools

• 5+ years of professional experience with Apache Kafka (messaging & stream processing).
• 5+ years with Apache Ignite for in-memory computing / distributed caching.
• Strong experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Experience with SonarQube for code quality, static analysis, and clean code enforcement.

Observability, Monitoring & Cloud

• 5+ years with monitoring/observability tools such as:
• Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, New Relic, Elastic, or OpenTelemetry.
• Proficiency with OpenShift and PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) for deploying and managing containerized applications.
• Experience deploying microservices in enterprise cloud environments.

Modern Desktop Applications

• Proficiency with OpenFin for building financial desktop applications and user interfaces.

Capital Markets / Fixed Income Expertise

Strong domain knowledge is mandatory, including:

• Bond Pricing
• Bond Risk
• Bond PnL
• Position Management
• Trade lifecycle
• End-of-day (EOD) marking
• Experience supporting Fixed Income trading desks or risk platforms is highly preferred.

Soft Skills & Collaboration

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural, matrixed, front-office environment.

Pay: $ $90.00 per hour
