Hostess Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring smooth operations between the front and back of the house. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented setting. Must available day shift & night shift both.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
• Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables quickly and efficiently after guests depart.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including floors, tables, and restrooms.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding guest needs and special requests.
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns with professionalism.
• Support food service operations by assisting with food delivery when necessary.
• Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, to process orders accurately when required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and engagement.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members.
• Familiarity with hotel or guest services is a plus.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
