Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems across various commercial and industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from blueprint reading to troubleshooting complex electrical issues, all while contributing to safe and efficient operations.

Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in commercial and industrial settings using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations.
• Conduct testing of electrical circuits using tools such as ohmmeters and ammeters to ensure proper functionality.
• Work on low voltage and high voltage systems safely in accordance with NEC standards and safety protocols.
• Utilize construction site experience to coordinate with other trades like frame carpentry during project phases.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports and compliance documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures to prevent hazards on construction sites or maintenance areas.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments is essential.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, blueprints, and NEC regulations.
• Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, along with power tools for installation tasks.
• Experience working with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems safely.
• Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints accurately.
• Familiarity with testing instruments like ohmmeters, ammeters, and the use of schematics for troubleshooting.
• Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of frame carpentry is a plus for integrated project tasks.

Pay: $ $22.44 per hour
