Food Runners

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Food Runners & Server Assistants to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will support the restaurant service by delivering food, assisting servers, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Duties

• Deliver prepared food promptly from the kitchen to guests' tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards.
• Assist servers with table setup, clearing, and resetting to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing dishes.
• Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and payments.
• Buss tables efficiently by removing used dishes and maintaining cleanliness throughout service.
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing guest needs courteously and promptly.
• Support banquet or special event service when required, contributing to a seamless dining experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth restaurant operations.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Experience with serving, bussing, or banquet service enhances effectiveness in this role.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Basic culinary knowledge or kitchen experience is advantageous for supporting food preparation tasks.
