Cleaning Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Chateau Royale Apartments. The Cleaner will play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming and spotless environment for our residents by ensuring the cleanliness of our offices, Activity Centers, communal laundry rooms, and other shared spaces. The role also includes preparing apartments for new residents and providing occasional weekend supervision during high-traffic periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Cleanliness: Regularly clean and maintain the apartment complex offices, Activity Centers, communal laundry rooms, and other common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
• Apartment Turnovers: Perform quick and thorough cleaning of apartments between resident move-outs and move-ins to prepare units for new tenants.
• Weekend Availability: Be available for weekend hours as needed, particularly during move-out periods and WVU home football game days, to supervise the complex entrance and ensure only vehicles with proper parking stickers are admitted.
• Additional Duties: Assist with other cleaning or facility-related tasks as assigned to support the smooth operation of the complex.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work efficiently and complete tasks in a timely manner, especially during apartment turnovers.
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed, particularly during move-out periods and WVU home football game days.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Schedule

• Full-time positions.
• Weekend availability required during peak move-out periods and WVU home football games.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $16.00 per hour
