Cashier/Customer Service

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to customers, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with POS systems, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve our diverse customer base.

• Ability to expand for extended periods
• Weekend or peak hour availability preferred
• Stock shelves and assist with inventory management as needed
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions with professionalism and courtesy
• Assist in maintaining store appearance through merchandising and stocking activities

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory counts
• Bilingual skills are a plus for serving a diverse customer base effectively
• Experience with product demos, upselling, merchandising, and stocking is advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Prior supervising experience is beneficial but not mandatory
• Knowledge of grocery store operations is preferred but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
