We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations, with experience in fine dining, catering, or the food industry. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Assist in menu planning and daily meal preparation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
• Use knife skills for precise food cutting and preparation
• Support catering events with meal assembly and presentation
• Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service environments
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques
• Experience with menu planning and meal preparation in a restaurant or catering setting
• Fine dining experience is a plus, demonstrating attention to detail and presentation skills
• Excellent knife skills and culinary techniques
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to accommodate special requests
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
• Previous experience in the food industry or as a dietary aide/dietary department experience is advantageous
