JOB TITLE: Systems Implementation Manager (PMS and Software)

Department: Operations

Reports to: Director of Integrations

SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Implementation Manager to join our growing team. The primary focus of this role will be to oversee the implementation of ModMed Practice Management System (PMS) and other technology platforms in plastic surgery practices. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with ModMed or Nextech in an implementation capacity, along with a deep understanding of PMS configurations and project management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)

  1. Lead the implementation of ModMed PMS and other technology platforms in plastic surgery practices.
  2. Work closely with vendors, doctors, managers, and internal teams to ensure successful and on-time implementation of systems.
  3. Travel to practices to meet with local teams and provide hands-on support during implementation. Travel expected to be 25-50% depending on project timeline and needs.
  4. Collaborate with the Director of Integrations, COO, VP of HR, and CEO to develop implementation strategies and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  5. Train team members on PMS configurations and provide ongoing support as needed.
  6. Keep projects on track by closely monitoring timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Clearly communicate progress including successes, challenges, and obstacles. 
  7. Troubleshoot issues and proactively address any challenges that arise during implementation.
  8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of implementation processes.

QUALIFICATIONS  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Business Administration) preferred.
  • Prior experience with ModMed or Nextech is required.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Willingness to travel to practices and be on-site in the home office as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative to drive projects to successful completion.
  • Experience working in the healthcare industry, particularly within plastic surgery practices, is a plus.
