TITLE: General Manager & Director, Sentient Technologies

LOCATION: Warrenton, VA

DUTIES:Provide strategic direction and operational management and hold responsibility for revenue generation and profitability for ERP custom software development engagements. Develop and implement strategic goals and objectives in alignment with the company's vision and mission. Analyze market trends and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making and identify new business opportunities. Manage the allocation of resources, including budget, personnel, and technology, to achieve business objectives. Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Prepare and manage the budget, including forecasting, financial planning, and performance monitoring. Analyze financial reports and data to make informed decisions that improve profitability and cost-effectiveness. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, acquisitions, and expansion into new markets.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 7 years in any job title involving experience leading end-to-end software development projects, driving strategic initiatives for innovation, and delivering results aligned with organizational goals. Prior experience must include: 7 years working on software development projects for Cloud Operations or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering, including microservices architecture; 5 years leading complex digital transformation initiatives for matrix organizations; 3 years managing multi-million-dollar customer portfolios and leading engineering teams of at least 10 engineers; 3 years driving revenue growth, developing new business opportunities, and developing Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies; 3 years of experience with budgeting, forecasting, P&L management; 3 years optimizing resource allocation to maximize profitability; 2 years collaborating with stakeholders in marketing, product management, R&D, and customer support; 2 years communicating with stakeholders at management, external, and operational level; 2 years negotiating and closing deals; and 2 years presenting complex solutions for legacy system modernization, integration of advanced technologies, reengineer processes, and business systems.

Up to 20% domestic and international travel required for business meetings.
